So, what is CFW?...

CFW is short for CustomFigureWars, an online community designed for the adult action figure customizer, collector, and all around toy fan.  We offer a variety of features for every type of customizer, from beginners to veterans.  Some of the features CFW offers are:

1. A "Live" chat box, viewable on every page, so you can discuss projects with other customizers in real time while you search the site. (Must be registered to the main site to view)

2. The Black Market (our version of the classifieds), for those who want to advertise items of their choosing such as, but not limited to, customs, ebay auctions & loose fodder etc...

3. The Custom Showcase, designed to give your customs maximum exposure (upload a custom and it is immediately front paged)

4. The Fan Art Showcase for those who also like to paint, sculpt, and sketch (the roots of customizing)

5. A showcase just for Tutorials & Recipes so we can help each other, and most importantly those who are new to the hobby.

6. The CFW Forum for the community to discuss all things action figure & more!  ** The forum requires a second registration with e-mail verification for security purposes**

And yes, everything mentioned above is free, all you have to do is sign up.  Here at CustomFigureWars we want to spread the hobby of customizing by bringing all custom sites & what they have to offer here for easy reference.  With your help we can generate more participation in contests & the hobby all together.

Custom Figure Wars has come up with a set of rules and guidelines for conducting transactions . All transactions are done at your own risk and are not the responsibility of this Website. If you follow these rules & guidelines you should have a problem and stress free transaction.

- Treat others with respect and how you yourself would want to be treated. We all get mad when others overcharge on postage, ship late, abandon a deal, poorly describe merchandise, don‘t complete an order etc
Remember, customizer’s keep tight circles so word spreads fast.

- All transaction should be conducted in US$ and through Paypal unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. If you reside in a country outside of the USA, please inform the other party if you prefer to conduct the transaction in a currency other than US$.

- Don’t complain about dealer’s prices. Every merchant has the right to charge whatever they want to for an item, and posting negative comments is rude and not allowed. If you believe the item’s price is to high, and want a lower price, email or PM the seller and try to negotiate.

- All items in the Black Market must have an actual asking price. Negotiations can be made by contacting the seller, but please, do not list an item as “taking offers”. The Black Market Is meant to be like the classifieds in your local news paper, except it’s for figures, scraps, or anything related. So, you wouldn’t open up the classifieds to find an ad saying, “ 1 MIB refrigerator AFA Graded 9.0 ß (lol, I‘m so witty), taking offers”, so we don’t expect any here.
After your items have sold or been traded, modify the header in your original post to reflect this. This way no time is wasted sending or replying to emails or PM's on out of stock items.

- Provide a clear picture of your item along with a good description.

- All other non action figure items or other collectibles for sale or wanted are to be posted in the proper section of the Black Market.

- All trader feedback or comments are to be posted in the "Trader Review" section of the forums. Also you have the option to create or add to a post in the feedback section explaining your transaction with the other member in further detail. Always look at the members feedback in the Trader Review section before conducting any transactions. If they have no feedback on these boards, simply ask them if they have feedback on another forum or for there Ebay ID. Once you know someone’s Ebay ID, check out their feedback then PM them through Ebay to ensure they are who they say they are. Make sure to always leave feedback after a transaction. Helps out everyone in the long run.

- Package your merchandise well and make sure the address is correct and legible when shipping. Nobody wants a lost or broken item.

- Make sure the item you are bidding on has a clear picture of the merchandise. This way you will know exactly what you are getting. One persons “excellent condition” figure can be another's “medium condition“. Text descriptions are also good as a picture won't show if a figure has loose joints, a small scratch, etc.

- The proper way to conduct a trade is for both parties to ship at the same time unless negotiated otherwise between the two trading parties. If you are dealing with somebody new to the forums, you can always insist they ship first if you have a good feedback rating and they agree to it.
Please send a response or reply when contacted about a trade or sale. If you are not interested, please let the other party know in a timely fashion. It takes allot of time to dig out items, take pictures, etc. and nobody's time needs to be wasted. The other member may have other people interested in the item and may be waiting on your response, so be courteous.
