Cary Elwes is the latest name to sign on for NBC's upcoming Wonder Woman television series.
The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman – a/k/a Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
Elwes, who recently appeared in Saw: The Final Chapter and is still best known for his iconic performance in The Princess Bride, will play the CEO of Prince's company, Themyscira Industries. He joins the previously announced Adrianne Palicki in the lead, Elizabeth Hurley as the pilot's villain and supporting cast members Pedro Pascal as Ed Indelicato, Tracie Thoms as Etta Candy, and Brett Trucker as Steve Trevor.
